The Clubhouse includes a comfortable Gathering Room with high ceilings, casual furniture, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and upscale lighting, overlooking the expansive sun-deck and heated swimming pool. The sun-deck is furnished seasonally with chaise lounges, tables with umbrellas and seating, and colorful planters to enjoy on a warm summer day.
A fully-outfitted professional fitness center is located in the Clubhouse. Here, residents will find high-end Life Fitness exercise equipment, including treadmills with personal video screens, as well as an elliptical machine and recumbent bicycle, each with personal video screens. There is also a multi-function weight machine, as well as floor space for stretching and yoga.
A quiet Reading Room with comfortable chairs and desk space with Internet access allows residents to settle-in with a good book or catch-up on their emails from the Club while the grandchildren are taking a swim. The Clubhouse includes a full kitchen, making the facility a good possibility for family parties and celebrations.
Adjacent to the Club and pool area, residents can enjoy the 4-acre center Common Green. A walking path leads from the Club to the scenic Gazebo overlooking one of the rain gardens. Park benches along the way make this an enjoyable stroll and a place to stop and enjoy the sunset. Residents can also enjoy the 1 mile natural walking path around the perimeter of the 68.5 acre community, through the woodlands, open fields and across the conservation land board-walk. If you want to explore further, the trails lead to the adjacent 454 acre Putnam Reservior which includes many hiking trails.
