Successful Grand Opening of the Clubhouse at English Commons at Topsfield

Topsfield, Massachusetts, May 21, 2011 – The Grand Opening Celebration, marking the completion of the Clubhouse and recreational amenities at English Commons at Topsfield, was held on Saturday evening (May 21st) at the new facility.  C.P. Berry Homes of Topsfield, the builder and developer of this new 55+, maintenance-free community, hosted a catered grand-opening celebration for future residents, town officials and other interested prospective home-buyers.  Nearly two-hundred people enjoyed the evening touring the new Clubhouse, which includes a gathering room with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace, a fully-outfitted fitness center, a library with Internet access, and a kitchen for hosting social events.  An outdoor, heated swimming pool with an expansive, furnished sun deck, is located adjacent to the Clubhouse for the enjoyment of the community residents.

“We’re pleased to offer these outstanding amenities to the current and future residents of English Commons,” said Carl Berry, President of C.P. Berry Construction Co., Inc. …”based on our past experiences in developing luxury-living communities, the recreational amenities will be greatly enjoyed by the residents, their friends and family.”

Attendees also enjoyed touring the three professionally-decorated Model Homes which were open throughout the evening.  Rave reviews were heard throughout the evening about the beautifully-crafted homes and the professionally-selected interior furnishings.

There will be a total of fifty homes within the community upon completion.  Fifty acres, of the 68 ˝ acre parcel, is being preserved as Open Space and will include walking trails for the use and enjoyment of the residents.    The community is being developed as a Low Impact Design (LID) community, which means the design is environmentally-friendly.
